For some it is an opportunity to try out a new product or business idea, for others a way of generating extra income. Our menu celebrates diversity of ingredients available on our doorstep, in the market or from local growers and urban foragers.<br /> <br /> We opened in November 2009 thanks to Spacemakers empty shops initiative.<br /> <br /> This was our video pitch for Barclay's One Small Step business competition.<br /> Although we didn't win (or get shortlisted) we have now managed to set up a separate kitchen where we can cook and already have have a trainee chef helping Ian. In the future we hope to run community cooking classes and let other people use the production kitchen to make things to sell in the shop.
